From your body my sun does rise......
Your lips provide my breath,
Passing, at their touch, a flush of life,
Evoking in once bitten-to-brittle flesh
The feeling that your sun rises from me
At the beckoning of your touch.
Each of your tracing fingerprints
Leaving a freckling of dew
As if I have become your world.
The promise of your warmth
Steeps my aching bones in a perfect remedy,
As with tenderness you coax, from me, a smile,
Nourished by the hands cupped around my face,
Rich as earth.
